Help Popeye Get Knee Surgery!

Popeye is a 3 year old rescue pitty from Gainesville Florida. I rescued Popeye 2 years ago on October 12th, the day after my birthday. Since then he has been one of the greatest gifts in my life. Popeye is the true definition of mans best friend, always sticking by my side and being the sweetest pup a guy could ask for. One day after taking Popeye to his favorite field for zoomies and a session of doggy soccer, I noticed him not using his back right leg. After taking Popeye to the vet, she told me he had torn his Cranial Cruciate Ligament (also known as the ACL in humans) as well as his meniscus, and would require surgery. After being laid off in March due to the pandemic, just recently starting to work again full time and being a college student paying for his own classes, as much as it pains me to admit this is something I simply can’t afford. It makes me very sad to see him every day unable to run and play with other dogs like he loves to do so much. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, thank you for your generosity.
