Many of us know Pollenca as one of the most exclusive areas of Mallorca with an abundance of character and charm that is mostly enjoyed by the privileged.
The team at Morgan and Morgan have a huge amount of gratitude to the fact we have maintained a healthy economic situation throughout this year with finding, building and renting a selection of the most exceptional homes in Mallorca.
However this is not the case for many.
This year has been one of the hardest for Mallorca’s economy. COVID-19 has meant that hundreds of businesses, usually reliant on tourism have been forced to close. This has had a dramatic effect on families who now need your support.
In the heart of the Old Town we have our flagship property Residencia 24 located in Calle Mallorca. We discovered in the same street an amazing old mansion converted in to a local Convent for the Nuns and the Fundacio Cors Oberts (the Open Hearts Foundation) who provide a food and clothing bank for local families.
Morgan and Morgan will be purchasing presents for 24 local children aged between 1 and 17 years to ensure that they do not go without this Christmas.
The Foundation has been overwhelmed with people who cannot afford basic necessities and are unable to access support from the local authorities.
The foundation is more often than not unable to provide fresh fruit and/or vegetables or meat - basic ingredients we take for granted. Currently these are rare luxuries. In addition often the families who receive the food, are then unable to afford the utilities to be able to cook it.

We want to change this.
This Christmas, we are reaching out to you to help support the Foundation. Every single euro donated will go directly to helping local families who are in need this winter.
