UPDATE: 3/5/2021 - It may be 4 - 6 months before they are able to reopen. They are being asked to continue paying rent, even though the store front provides them with no income. They are being asked to pay out-of-pocket for the renovations so that someday, insurance might reimburse them. Apparently every item in the salon must be replaced. Contractors and permits are in high demand and limited supply. More importantly, they are a kind family, with welcoming smiles and big hearts that bring warmth and talent to the Route 1 neighborhood.
