Help!Save our boy-Pobby
Hello everyone! My son, Pobby is a 5 year old puppy who is now suffering an unknown liver failure presumably due to a toxic spray on grass. His results show a fatal level of bilirubin - 294 (normal level is 0-5.2). As for his Liver, all the rates were all dangerously high and were already passed the fatal numbers as well.
Pobby is our lucky charm and the one that brings happiness into our family. He is more than just a pet to us; he’s our true hero and saviour. Before I met Pobby, I suffered severe depression even to the point of suicidal attempts. My life took a complete turnaround as I met my love, Pobby. He taught me the joy and the purpose of life so much that I didn’t have to depend on antidepressants.
Currently, our family is faced with another devastating situation. My mom is battling against kidney cancer for a few months now. Pobby’s love has been positively affecting my mother’s battle. However, after finding out of his sickness, it has been a struggle after struggle as stress plays a big role in her fight with cancer.
He has already lost more than a quarter of his weight and the only way to bring him back is for him to fight for his life. He is trying his best and cooperating with all the help we are trying to give him while still caring of his family members over himself. Even in the hospital, He tries to keep on his smile for us.
In order to sustain the treatment for him to get better, we need IV fluids($200 one day), 4 medications($150 per week) and blood test($240) or he will die slowly. He has already had 8 days of IV and responding pretty well. Over the month, his treatment has cost me roughly $5000. He still needs at least 5 more blood tests, 3 more months of treatment, more checkups and frequent IV fluids. Pobby means everything to us and Gofundme is the only option left to sustain the treatment to keep our boy alive and happy. He means the world to me and I don’t want to go down the hill filled with misery again. He is the only sun and the only light I have ever seen in my life.
