We adopted Pita on Aug 6th. He was born with a cleft palate. He was doing great until about a week ago when he started having problems walking. He was just diagnosed from an MRI with a vertebral deformity resulting in significant spinal cord compromise. We will be doing medical management, laser therapy, and acupuncture while determining if a surgical route would benefit in the future. Our goal is to provide him with everything he needs to live the best possible quality of life. Thank you.
