Miss Piper is the daughter of a childhood friend of mine, Courtney.  Piper has Cystic Fibrosis, or CF and has been in and out of the hospital 7 times in the last 18 months!! Courtney got the call today that a much needed machine called "Vibralung" is FINALLY being appoved for Piper to have at home. They have been denied this machine over and over again.  This machine helps break break up the mucus inside her lungs by sending high frequency sound waves deep into her lungs. This device has helped her more than any other medical device. It makes her cough and that is a wonderful thing, it means it is working.
The news of the machine is WONDERFUL but comes with a large out of pocket expence.  Lets see if we can all pitch in and help a little girl breath a little easier!
