Help Phoebe continue her fight! ❤️

Phoebe is our beloved 2 year old cat that we adopted 10 months ago from the non-profit animal rescue we volunteer for. She is the sweetest, most gentle cat we have ever known. In the beginning of May she began sneezing and stopped eating. Then she developed fluid in her kidneys and neurological weakness in her back legs. After several antibiotics, multiple blood tests and an ultrasound she was diagnosed with FIP, a rare and usually fatal mutation of coronavirus. There is no official treatment for FIP in the US, but there is an experimental drug that has shown success in other cats and makes it curable. We have already started her on this treatment but the overall cost of the medication and diagnostics will be around $5000-$7000 for one cycle of 84 days and follow up diagnostics. We are trying to keep up as best we can but I’ve had to reduce my hours at work to take care of her full time, so every bit helps.
