April 2020 Phillip was diagnosed with a rare cancer in the tube that connects the kidney to the bladder.
May 4th he will have surgery to remove part of his bladder, a kidney that is dead and the tube that connects that kidney to his bladder. Then will start chemo treatments.
Phillip is 51, but a lot of his friends say "He's an old soul."
He truly believes "Do unto other as you would have them do unto you."
He is the first person to step up if anyone needs anything.
He is a down to earth type of person that enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing and loves riding his Harley.
Phillip has worked for a contractor for Georgia Power for 20 plus years.
We as a family, around a year ago had to make the decision to go from a two income family to a one income family, so Kellie could stay with his mom due to medical issues.
Now with Phillip being out of work due to surgery, recovery, and chemo treatments and with medical expenses that will come, as hard as it is, especially for Phillip, being on the receiving in of help, we have decided to set up a Go Fund Me to help him be able to focus on recovery and not the expenses.
