Help Vichet to Help his Family

Donation protected
UPDATE: Baby girl arrived yesterday...a bit early but healthy and already home!

THANK YOU to the donors so far. We still have a way to go to reach our target of $2000. No donation is too small. Please read, contribute if you can and share the campaign with your family and friends.

Vichet is a wonderful young Cambodian man living with his wife and baby in Siem Reap. Vichet's father died when he was three months old. As a toddler he contracted polio and has an underdeveloped left leg and foot,  Despite the challenges this presents to a Cambodian man he was lucky enough to find love and acceptance but his mother died one month before his wedding.
I am a volunteer in Cambodia and met Vichet when he was working a second job as a barman in a three storey restaurant/bar. I commented to the manager that it was difficult for Vichet to carry food and drinks upstairs and suggested he let Vichet just service the busy ground floor. Other patrons supported this but the manager's response was to fire him to avoid customer complaints.
I found Vichet another job, had special shoes made for him and with the help of friends funded the building of a small home.
Vichet's first child is now 13 months old and his second child is due in one month. He works as a word carver from 7:30-5:30 six days per week and as barman from 6pm - midnight six nights per week. If he's lucky his day and night off coincide and give him a full day off. The family own one motorcycle and a bicycle and he uses the latter to get to work. When the new baby arrives they won't be able to go out because even though the motorcycle is equivalent to our family car, you cannot balance two babies on a motorcycle.
I am hoping to raise funds to buy the family a second-hand tuk tuk with motorcycle which will both give the family transport and allow Vichet to work flexible hours as a tuk tuk driver and allow him to quit the bar job and spend more time with family.  The average income here is $USD150 per month which is why most people work a second job.
I already support Vichet and two other families here but as a volunteer I cannot achieve all the help I would wish to without the generous support of others.
I will attempt to attach a picture of his home to show that it doesn't yet have complete walls. It's barely larger than a normal living room but divided into three rooms. They are yet to build a bathroom and toilet and currently use the inlaws facilities as they live next door.
Thank you in anticipation of any support you can offer to ease the burden on this fine young family.
