Help PetNet Fix Zoey's Jaw!

Tax deductible

Zoey was an URGENT local case that we accepted. She is a 2lb 9 month old female Chihuahua/Yorkie Mix. Her mandible was broken in 2 places when a larger dog in her previous home bit her.

She is going to surgery at the University of Illinois TODAY (Fri, 2/2) to have her jaw repaired by their Dentistry Service. We must raise the necessary funds for this surgery, which will be $2,000-$2,500.

Additionally, she was never spayed, vaccinated, provided with heartworm preventatives, or microchipped. Once her jaw is addressed, she will get spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for heartworm disease and started on preventatives, and microchipped. Her previous owner recently bathed her in something that made her lose large patches of hair, including much of the hair on her head and face, so she will have a Dermatology consult in the near future, too!

Zoey will be available for adoption AFTER her medical issues are addressed, so please follow her story!

*Please note - Zoey is very sweet! The muzzle was simply to support her jaw until surgery.

Please help us raise funds for Zoey!! She has had a rough time, so we look forward to helping her get the surgery she needs, heal appropriately, and have a great life in a forever home <3
