<div>Last week, Mr. Olaf L. was hit by a truck that veered onto the sidewalk, leaving him with life-threatening injuries. He is currently in the intensive care unit, after surgery.

<div><strong>The accident has left Peter to manage life without his father</strong>
</div>
<div>Mr. L. is a devoted single father and sole caregiver of his son Peter, a local high school student. With his father hospitalized, sixteen-year-old Peter has been unexpectedly left to manage daily life without his father — commuting to school, preparing meals, caring for their dog, paying bills – and coping with the uncertainty surrounding his father’s recovery. There are no family members or friends nearby who can provide ongoing assistance.
