Help Peter Beat Cancer

Dear loved ones,
At the end of March 2018, our sweet Peter Roney (21 yrs old) was diagnosed with metastatic testicular cancer after ordering c-scans and finding that it had spread from the original location to his liver and lungs.
Surgery was postponed and he immediately began treatment. He will endure 4 sessions of chemotherapy, each being 5 days around the clock with 15 days at home to rest between each session. Post-chemo, Peter will have at least 2 surgeries to remove remaining masses and possibly more chemo based on results.

This is the beginning of a long journey for Peter and for his family. Peter's mother, Sarah, who is in school and works, has set aside much of those responsibilities to support her son, commuting to Seattle from Olympia and providing him with food and necessary care. She is also simultaneously caring for her other two children who are in high school and elementary school in Olympia.

During Peter's time at home, he will need to be on a special diet, we need to fill him with all things healthy and life-giving as the chemotherapy not only destroys tumors, but his healthy cells as well.
Peter was working  and was a full time student at Shoreline College set to graduate this Spring before diagnosis. His doctor advised all things be put on hold through this process of 4 to 6 months.  He has moved back home with Sarah during this time.

We are URGENTLY asking for help for the overwhelming amount of costs and the financial strain this has and will continue to put on the family.
Your donation will help pay for:
-Foods and supplements Peter will need to aid him in rebuilding his immune system and detoxifying his body from the chemotherapy. This can be done with specific foods and supplements.
-Any medical bills that are not covered by insurance.
-Rent, bills and gas will be a financial burden for Sarah. She will have a substantial loss of pay due to taking time off work to be with Peter on his scheduled chemo days.

Most of you already know Peter in all his artistic, intellectual, tenderhearted glory. He is a fighter and is incredibly hopeful during this time. And most of you know his mother, an unconditional lover who has always sacrificed all for her children and is doing no less now. Under these circumstances it takes a village, so we are reaching out to our loved ones.
