Help Peter and Sharon reestablish their lives

Sharon & Peter Callan lost everything (including several pets) in a house fire last night. Sharon and Peter have been tirelessly active in Gilmer, Pickens and surrounding counties for years donating their time and expertise to help animal shelters, pet & veteran causes. This charitable husband and wife team founded and continue to manage Shelter Dogs For Veterans, a 501 C3 charity pulling dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters. These dogs are then trained to meet the specific needs of a disabled veteran or first responder. Please consider making a contribution to help these valued members of our community get through this life altering catastrophe.

Thank you

For those of you who do not know, Sharon and Peter Callan’s (president, Vice President and trainer for SDFV)house burnt to the ground Sunday losing everything. . Also, everything owned by Shelter Dogs for Veterans was destroyed in a shed next to the home. This was donations,
