<div><strong>Music has been my life since I was 8.</strong> I started with piano, picked up guitar at 12, found my voice at 15, and wrote my first song a year later. <strong>By 18, I knew without a doubt that I wanted to win a Grammy more than anything.</strong> I went on to earn a <em>Bachelor's of Music in Jazz Guitar</em> from The University of Tennessee before <strong>moving to Los Angeles to chase that dream.</strong>

</div>

<div>A messy breakup sent me into a spiral. <strong>My old friend Depression came to visit, and that combined with a crippling insecurity from compulsive outward comparison brought me to my knees in a dark quarter-life crisis.</strong>

<div>So I decided to <em>sell everything I owned</em> (except my guitar of course) and escaped to a little island off the Gulf of Thailand.

</div>
<div>For the next 2 years, <strong>I let go of my music ambitions, realizing my ego was too wrapped up in validation from others.</strong> I gave up the dream I’d held onto for so long and turned inward, spending my days immersed in meditation, yoga, and qigong.

<div>But slowly, music found its way back into my life.
</div>

</div>
<div>Over the next 3 years on the island, <strong>I rediscovered the reason why I fell in love with music in the first place</strong><em>—the simple, beautiful therapy of channeling my emotions and experiences into living, breathing songs.</em>

<div>This time, however, I made sure to keep my intentions pure. No longer chasing fame, I dove back into performing at live events again, connecting with other artists, and reveling in the heartfelt feedback I always received when I shared my gift—reminding me how powerful and important music truly is.

<div>Now, at 30, <em>I see how fast time flies.</em> <strong>And I just can’t let another 10 years slip by without giving music my all.</strong> It’s become painstakingly clear that if I don’t pursue my life's passion now, I never will—and nothing would fill me with more regret looking back on my life from 80.

<div><strong>So, I’m taking action to make this dream a reality.</strong>

<div><strong>Producing and marketing an album is expensive, and right now, I simply can’t afford it. </strong><em>That’s why I’m asking—with immense humility and gratitude—for your support.</em> Every contribution, no matter how small, will add up and go a very long way in bringing this project to life.

<div>I've written well over 50 songs and <strong>my goal is to turn 13 of them into a full professionally produced album:</strong>

<div>So just to create the album will cost a low-end projection of <strong>$27,000.</strong> But the process of actually getting it to see the light of day is an entirely separate journey...

<li><strong>Hiring a manager </strong>will cost roughly<strong> </strong><em>$1,500/month </em><strong>(a 6-month contract = $9,000)</strong>

<li><strong>Ads on social media/etc. </strong>will cost roughly <em>$500/month </em><strong>(a 6-month campaign = $3,000)</strong>
</li>
<li><strong>Pitching the songs to major playlists </strong>on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube Music, etc. will cost roughly <strong>$1,000</strong>
</li>
<li><strong>Press coverage (blogs/magazines/radio/etc.) </strong>will cost at least <strong>$2,000</strong>
</li>
<li><strong>Content creation (photoshoots, live music videos, behind-the-scenes docs, etc.) </strong>will cost a minimum of <strong>$2,000</strong>
</li>
<li><strong>Hiring band members</strong> to learn and perform the songs will cost roughly <strong>$6,000</strong>
</li>
</ul>

<div>All of these numbers are low-end projections, and even still, a 6-month marketing campaign while playing as many shows as I can with my band will still cost at least <strong>$23,000.</strong>

<div>Which is why I'm asking for <strong>$50,000. </strong>It's not a small amount of money, and it's definitely far more than I can save on my own at this point in my life...

<div>But it's not too big for a few thousand people coming together with whatever money they are able to share.
