FROM ORGANIZERS: San Francisco's own, ALEX U. INN AND JUANITA MORE! Dear CommUNITY, 2nd ANNUAL PEOPLE’S MARCH & RALLY - Unite to Fight! on Sunday, June 27th, is a vision we have had for some time - to take SF Pride back to its roots and original route of 51 years ago, to keep police and corporations out of Pride, and make a way for ALL of our Trans and Queer Black, Brown and Indigenous family to attend. And we DID IT! Now we need your help to keep going with the way WE ALL WANT PRIDE TO BE!!! Just like the name People's March denotes, it is for ALL the people to be free to let their voices be heard. We are asking for your help for expenses that will cover the essentials in putting this event on. Please give what you can. Anything helps. Any money left over will be given back to community services. All Black Lives Matter! All Trans Lives Matter! All Brown Lives Matter, All Indigenous Lives Matter! In solidarity, Alex and Juanita ------ ** Please. WE NEED YOUR HELP. LET'S CONTINUE, YEAR AFTER YEAR, TO BRING PRIDE BACK TO THE ROOTS AND INCLUDE ALL PEOPLE! *No Police* *No Corporations* *** THANK YOU CommUNITY! *** *** 2nd Annual People's March and Rally - UNITE TO FIGHT! NO CORPORATIONS! NO POLICE! *** Date: Pride Sunday, June 27, 2021 Time: 11 AM - 6 PM Details: March Starts at 1800 Polk Street at Washington, San Francisco, California. We will start to gather between 10:00AM and 10:30 AM. People’s March kickoff at 11 AM to the Civic Center for Rally! **** A call for action from Activists Juanita MORE! and Alex U. Inn. All Black Lives Matter! All Trans Lives Matter! All Brown Lives Matter, All Indigenous Lives Matter! On Sunday, June 27, 2021, on the route of the very first Gay Liberation March, 51 years ago, we will roar our voices in solidarity with our Black, Brown, and Indigenous Trans and Queer family, friends, lovers, and neighbors. We stand in protest of transgender and racial injustice, police violence and killings, unjust healthcare, the fight for gun control, and let’s not forget reparations to Black People. We demand changes! We will show up in droves with amplified voices to advocate for the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, denounce and condemn police violence against our communities, and raise awareness for the need to defund police departments, which will allow for funds to be reallocated to social services, mental healthcare providers, and social justice organizations. After losing 600,000 lives to Covid-19, most of which are Black, Latinx, and Indigenous, we insist on consistent universal healthcare for everyone and support the continuance of the Affordable Care Act. People’s March will be led by an all-Black, Brown, and Indigenous committees of Trans and Queer activists, community leaders, artists, and performers. Join us as we Unite To Fight for our civil rights! We will not be silenced! ** PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE.** People’s March & Rally Organizers ask for you to please be in compliance with our Federal and California state laws to wear Masks, if not vaccinated, and to remain safely physically distant. (CDC Info.) Masks will not be provided. #PeoplesMarch #AllBlackBrownIndigenousLivesMatter #BlackLivesMatter #BlackTransLivesMatter
