Help people with Down Syndrome in Uganda

Donation protected
Hi, please help us to make contact with the 2000+ People with Down Syndrome in Mid-Western Uganda, give therapy/medical support, and form self-help / enterprise groups to sustain themselves and their carers.

Since March 2021, Rowans Down Syndrome Awareness Centre (RDSAC) already has 45 members, is giving regular monthly therapy to over 100 children and training health workers to recognize DS and spread the word.

Perhaps the most rewarding thing is that you will be helping PWDS in a fairly remote and mostly rural area to come out of their current terrible isolation/cursing and become regarded as full and active community members.

Donations over £100 will go into our UK Charitable Foundation for long term sustainability, and £10 will fund a monthly therapy session for 20 kids. The outcome of your donation will be fed back to you personally. You can also find us on  https://www.rowansds.org
