Help Penny, Todd and family rebuild after fire

On 10/22/2021 a whole families life has changed. A gas leak caused the home to explode then followed with intense flames. A home that had been passed down in the family for 3 generations. Everyone was able to make it out. Penny is still in critical condition with 40% of her body burned. She is on the road to recovery as she had to get a spinal fusion surgery that was successful and skin graft that will be followed up again Friday, 10/29. Ari is also in the hospital as she had a asthma attack and a lung collapse her lungs has soot in them but she is responsive and on her way to recovery as well. Zack has suffered burns as well and is on a slow process of healing. The trauma is something that will take a life time for healing. We also had many animals suffer in the fire, sadly three out of the four dogs did not make it out. Kita and Benji were lost in the home and found in the debris. Bella ran away, we found her days after and sadly had to put her down due to her condition. Little one was able to get out and was taken well care of. We had 2 cats pass in the fire and the others are in the process of being rehomed. Unfortunately the family did not have home insurance and the house was a total loss. We have salvaged as much as we could from the home and what was remaining on the property. These donations will help rehome the family and get them all the basic necessities that Todd, Penny, and Zack will need in the coming months. We will have a medical fundraiser for Penny once we have a better idea of what she will need.
