Message from Pemberley’s mom, Cassidy:

Hi everyone! I appreciate all the love and support we’ve received so far and wanted to give an update. She ended up staying at the neurologist for a few days and they diagnosed her with Meningomyelitis, or severe inflammation of her spinal cord. She’s taking a myriad of medications prescribed by her neurologist, including steroids to help with the inflammation at the moment. We discovered the cause is autoimmune which means she also has to receive a chemotherapy agent injection every 4 weeks until she fully recovers. The recovery process is long and unpredictable, so we have no idea how long we will have to continue with the treatments until she regains mobility in her back legs. She has shown small signs of improvement though so we’re hopeful that the treatment is working. The costs of the vet visits, MRI and continued treatments/medications have gone above $8,000 and are continuing to rise so I appreciate any support. Would love to see my girl walking again soon.❤️
