BUY PEG A 'PINT' & SAVE THE BEAST!
Those of you who know Peg will know he is a van-lifer. The Beast is his home year round and the all-important space for this Dad with his family.
Funds have dried up for the current project (new box and van for a home improvement project) and as a result he will be homeless if additional funds can't be raised to complete it. Unforeseen cirumstances have meant that the last of the money is no longer available.
The Beast is a Perranporth landmark and even features on this year's village map. It is a regular sight around Aggie and further afield such as The Severn Bore with the Muddy Brothers to other countries such as Norway.
A popular C4 small space design and build programme has been following the new build. Several design suggestions have been implemented along with Peg's unique style.
Other than riding stormy swells at Aggie that most of us wouldn't dream of attempting, Peg is always first to sign up to anything supporting his favourite charities or promoting Adaptive Sports. Peg has climbed Kilimanjaro, run the Olympic torch, completed the Virgin London Marathon several times and represented his Country in the ISA World Adaptive Surf Championships (coming a very creditable 5th)! He even has his own beer and been the subject of an award-winning short film, he's that much of a legend!
Peg's always been the first to help many of us with our own VW's and various camper issues.
The funds raised will help Peg to retain his home, complete this project and keep the van on the road for years to come. Any funds raised surplus to requirements will be donated to help fund the UK Team at the ISA World Adaptive Surf Championships 2017.
This guy gives so much of his time to support others, it would be nice to see that paid forward. He'd never consider asking himself and was utterly mortified when I suggested this, hence I'm asking on his behalf. So please consider donating the cost of a pint (or more) and share this page on your social media.
