He had the dream of conquering the Mount Everest of Open Water...the English Channel. Together we made his dream a reality and he became the first ever para athlete to swim a solo!

<div><strong>THE GO FUND ME Fundraiser will be specifically used to cover the expenses of our next solo crossing that has never been attempted before. The "Crocodile Swim" is a 32 km race that will take over 15 hours to swim - beginning from Banco Chinchorro all the way to Mahahual on the mainland - this ‘swim’ has never been attempted by a soloist or para athlete and we are taking cautious measures. With this achievement we will conclude the documentary film of Pedro Rangel Haros's life focusing on his swimming achievements and fatherhood.</strong>

<div>Hi my name is Marianne Alvarez, as an ex swimmer and a coach, I have coached para swimmers to Paralimpic Games and open water challenges.
</div>
<div>In 2014, our team became the first ever Paralympic relay to swim across the English Channel.
</div>
<div>In 2016, we had two relays - one of them was the fastest crossing of the season (including abled body).
</div>
<div>In 2018, I coached the first ever solo crossing of a para athlete, Pedro Rangel Haro, whose dream became a reality.
