Hello Friends, this is Peca, She is our sweet girl with the most noble heart. Peca is a Dachshund, she is playful and brightens up our

house all the time. Peca was born on September 16, she is 4 years old and has always been a healthy girl until about 3 days ago when she unexpectedly lost mobility in her back legs, our doctor says that she could have received trauma playing with her little sisters since she lives with her little sisters who were born the same day. When we went to the Doctor, he told us that Peca can walk again if we operate on her spine, but that before that we can start a treatment of medications, therapies and see if she reacts. At this moment Peca is hospitalized because she presented a complication of bleeding in her urine (Hematuria) which has been almost completely controlled. Today, we went to visit her and the Doctor tells us that this will be a long process of many treatments and visits to the hospital.When I saw the costs of all this treatment, plus the hospitalization, my world fell apart. I didn't have the money to save our girl. Peca is our life, and the love we feel for her is so great that I can't just sit back and stop doing everything so she can continue living, walk again, and be the happy dog she always was.
