Help Peaches Heal After a Traumatic Injury

Hi everyone, my name is Dakota, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My sweet girl Peaches, a 5-year- I’ve raised since she was just 8 weeks old, recently suffered a terrifying and traumatic event.

On Tuesday night, Peaches somehow got out of the house. After searching frantically, my girlfriend and I finally found her—but what we saw broke us. She was injured, badly. Peaches was clearly in pain and disoriented. We rushed her to the vet, hoping for the best, but we were completely unprepared for the devastating news: Peaches has a broken jaw and needs orthopedic surgery to recover.

This isn’t just a minor fix—it’s an intensive, costly procedure involving anesthesia, hospitalization, and possible follow-up care. The estimate ranges from $5,000 to $8,000 just to begin treatment. The vet can't move forward until we come up with at least the minimum deposit.

Unfortunately, we’ve already been denied help from CareCredit and Scratchpay, leaving us with very few options. As much as it pains me to ask for help, I simply can’t afford to do this on my own—and Peaches deserves a chance to heal.

She’s not just a pet. Peaches is family. She’s been my companion through thick and thin, always by my side. Her goofy smile, endless cuddles, and gentle spirit light up every room. Seeing her like this—injured, scared, and in pain—is absolutely heartbreaking.
