<div><strong>There is a family that I support Liberia</strong>. Ben, Victoria, Robert, and Alex all live in a small neighborhood in Paynesville. Ben has an IT degree, but can't get a job because the economy has collapsed in Liberia.

<div>Ben's community is trying to survive by their own means by creating a <strong>community garden</strong>. They just need a big enough<strong> plot of land</strong> to grow their own food. About a dozen families live in this poor neighborhood and they are all very eager for a chance to plant, harvest, and share in this community garden.

<div><strong>What is Needed?</strong>

<div>Because of the seasonal flooding, the vegetable garden area will need to be in a raised bed. This will require some sort of frame of stone or wood. We will also need hoes, rakes, irrigation systems and seeds.

<div>The rice portion of the garden can be dug out to keep it wet for growing rice. The soil removed from that space will help raise the vegetable garden.
</div>

<div>We hope you can help us with a couple of dollars or whatever you can give. We already raised $500 and built a community well that helped people within a 10-mile radius.

<div>BUT...this <strong>weather cycle is perfect</strong> for a plot that has a <strong>rice paddy </strong>on one side and a <strong>vegetable and bean garden </strong>on the other side.

<div>We need a plot that is <strong>about an acre </strong>to really sustain all of this community. But we will <strong>start small </strong>and only buy the land that we can acquire with the money raised here.
