<div>Last year in July my boyfriend was laid off from his dream job at Peterbelt. Everyday he would come home and tell me about his day, how he helped put together the trucks with a smile on his face. Whenever we would drive around town and he saw a Peterbelt truck. he would point it out and tell me about the model, sometimes even tell me how he worked on them.

<div>It was like watching a kid talk about their favorite thing in the entire world.
</div>
<div>Then finally, a few months ago he got his call back, and with excitement he went through the rehiring process. Only to get told that he still has to wait. That he was hired, but the start date was unknown.

<div>We are still in that waiting period and we haven't heard a word from them.
</div>

<div>He has been working as hard as he possibly can to keep a roof over our head while also taking care of me. When I am able, I do help him. We door dash on the side, and I will ride in the car with him and help navigate. I try to keep up on the house, even making homemade cleaner so we can save funds, while also washing clothes in the bathtub, so we don’t have to worry about paying for the washer and driers at our apartment. When I can I also do some commissions, such as art or tarot card readings.

<div>Every little bit we are able to we do, but it never seems like its enough.

<div>Due to some underlying medical conditions, I am unable to work a normal job. I have ovarian cysts, as well as horrible pain when it comes to my periods. One of Stevens goals is to be able to get me insurance, so I can go to the doctor to get checked for endometriosis, as well as getting professional help for my other medical issues.
</div>
<div>We have tried before to get me help when I was on insurance some years ago, however I was told it was “normal” given birth control, which was a small bar they put in my arm. I had horrible side effects from it in the first month, and they had to remove it. They didn’t numb me all the way, and it was a very painful experience. When I told them my concerns and asked what steps needed to be taken to help me further, I wasn’t helped at all. I wasn’t given information, I wasn’t asked to make a new appointment. When I wanted scans for my cysts they didn’t even give me the time of day. I also have a medical condition called diverticulitis, which is a condition where these small pouches in the wall of my large intestine will become inflamed. Which causes a lot of pain, and at times has put me in the hospital. A condition I have never been able to get rescanned after first being diagnosed years ago.

<div>I have tried to donate plasma for that little bit of extra money, however due to my medical conditions, my body couldn’t handle it.
</div>
<div>I cannot function like a normal human, to the point that I’ve had to cancel going to holiday events with my family or even playing a simple game with my own friends online.
</div>

<div>Steven is the kindest, sweetest, man. He is lovely, and I consider myself one of the luckiest women on the planet. He was my first everything, and we have been together for twelve years on October 31st. He supports me in everything that I do, no matter what it is, while also helping me with daily needs and making sure I am fed and safe. I adore him, I love him, and I want to help in what way that I can, but I am unable to do so in the way that we need.

<div>He pushes me to always do what I love, from streaming, art, music, and even writing stories. If I love it, he supports me. I did apply for college, which he suggested for me. Even telling me to go for something I love - which is art - so I can utilize what I will learn and put it towards what I adore doing. Which is creating. I applied, and set up all of my financial aid. Thankfully they are all online classes as well, so I will be able to do it comfortably at home, without the worry that I will be unable to attend due to a medical issue.

<div>However, the financial aid they are providing will not be sent to me until after the 27th of October; far to late to cover impending bills.
</div>

<div>This is why I am making this gofundme. To help us. To help relieve this stress on him.

<div>Watching Steven leave for work, at this job he hates. I can see just how much it is hurting him. How much it pains him that he cannot support me in the way that he did before. How much it pains him to not be at the place that he loved being.

<div>We only need this help for a short time, which will keep us above water for the time being - at least till he is hired back at his dream job. But the start date remains out of reach, and if we don’t do something now, I don’t even know if we are going to have a place to live at the end of the month. Our car payment is behind two months, with the threat of it being taken away. A little car that he adores and was so proud of when he bought it a couple years ago.

<div>We haven’t even been able to pay rent this month, with only a couple weeks left to come up with the funds.
</div>
<div>All of our money has gone to what bills we have been able to pay such as car insurance, utilities, food, and basic necessities. And sometimes even that is difficult. Any amount helps. I understand during this time and age that things are difficult, so if you are able help us it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
