Help pay Katie's Medical Bills and Beat Cancer

Earlier this year, Katie, a permanently disabled 35 year old queer woman who is unable to walk unassisted, was diagnosed with cancer in the ER when she went in about a large growth which turned out to be a malignant tumor. She is uninsured, and we are unable to pay the bills on our own, as we already live mostly paycheck to paycheck.

So far we have managed to pay off the ER bill with your help, but the estimates for the surgery she has already undertaken run as high as $7,000. On top of that there are still more steps to be taken including more scans, appointments, and even chemotherapy which can easily cost in the six digits. We will of course let you know if we have to raise our goal.

It's difficult to ask for money like this, especially in such a large amount, an amount that may have to be increased over time as bills continue to stack up, at that.
