<div>Hi, my name is Celine, and I’m fundraising to help my dog Rocky get urgent dental surgery that he needs to stay healthy and pain-free.

<div>Rocky is 17.5 years old — a true little grandpa with a big heart. I’ve had him since he was about 1.5 and I was just 7 years old. We grew up together. From childhood to adulthood, through every heartbreak, celebration, and quiet day, he’s been right by my side. He isn't just a dog — he’s family, my biggest emotional support, and the most loyal friend I’ve ever had. Rocky is a rescue, a mix between Tibetan Spaniel and Lhasa Apso, and despite his age, he still has so much life in him. He’s happy, alert, and full of personality — like an energetic 80-year-old man who refuses to slow down.

<div>But right now, his teeth are causing him pain, and it’s affecting more than just his mouth. He has a heart murmur (blåsljud) that can get worse when there’s inflammation in his mouth. The vet believes his dental issues may be weakening both his heart and lungs. That’s why this surgery is so important — not just for his comfort, but for his overall health and quality of life. The cost of the surgery, including x-rays, anesthesia, extractions, and aftercare, is estimated to be between 7000–17,000 SEK, and I’m preparing for at least 14,000 SEK. Unfortunately, his insurance doesn’t cover dental treatment.

<div>I’m doing my best — selling personal items and collecting every penny — but I can’t cover this cost on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out here. Every little contribution helps, and if you’re not able to donate, simply sharing this means the world to me and Rocky.

<div>Update 17/6:
</div>
<div>First of all – Rocky is doing fine ❤️ He is home, eating, resting and getting lots of love. But the surgery was more extensive than we expected. Due to his age, many bad teeth (they pulled 16!) and complications after the anesthesia, he needed to stay overnight for monitoring. The cost ended up at 25,922 SEK, I managed to pay 17,000 but I still have 8,922 SEK left to pay within 3 weeks. Hence I’m keeping this open until further notice.
