Help Pay for Jutta's Brain Surgery
Donation protected
Hello, I'm reaching out to you today with a story of hope and courage on behalf of my 26-year-old sister, Jutta. A few months ago, my sister began experiencing severe headaches, seizures, slurred speech, blurred vision, and weakness of the right side of the body. After undergoing multiple exams and scans, doctors discovered she had excess fluid in her brain. Further imaging revealed a large brain tumor. This diagnosis has been incredibly challenging, and her condition has rapidly deteriorated since then. She can no longer speak coherently and has significant memory gaps. She has undergone different treatment since the diagnosis, each bringing its own set of challenges. Despite the pain and uncertainties, she has never lost hope. The surgeons have informed us that the tumor is completely resectable and have recommended IMMEDIATE surgery to remove the tumor from the brain.
Unfortunately, the costs associated with the surgery are substantial, and not covered by the government. The costs exceed what our family can afford. This surgery is time-sensitive and the longer we wait, the worse her symptoms become as the tumor continues to grow and threatens her health further. Your contribution will help pay for the brain surgery and ongoing medical expenses.
With your help, my sister can look forward to a life beyond this diagnosis - a life filled with hope, health, and happiness.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your generosity can make all the difference in my sister’s life.
