<div>Hi, I’m Diane Wolf, one of the owners of the Lobster Shanty. Two of our long-time employees, Sarah “Monkey” and Dale, have a beloved coonhound named Bourbon. She’s a feisty &amp; stubborn hound and we all love her. Bourbon became suddenly ill a few days ago and needed emergency surgery to remove a mass from her abdomen – no word yet from pathology. Her prognosis is guarded, but the vet seems optimistic. Bourbon is in recovery now and is fighting her best fight, giving wags when she can.

<div>Needless to say, emergency veterinary surgery is wicked expensive. Once all is done, their bill will likely be about $18,000! I am creating this GoFundMe to give our community an opportunity to give Bourbon’s humans a bit of financial support. If we all pitch in, I think we can ease their worry.
