Help Paw Paw with Rehab

Paw Paw (Rex) just was diagnosed with a small bowel obstruction and had to have surgery for the first time in his 88 years of living. Now insurance is saying they will not send him to a rehab to get stronger to go home. So for one month in the rehab out of pocket is $5,431. Thank you for any help we can get!
