Help Paul be comfortable
Donation protected
Paul was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in his spine in June of 2020. He is a husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He has undergone 3 spinal surgeries and aggressive inpatient chemo. He has not been home since July. He has fought a good fight. He tested positive for Covid the first week of Dec. At first the symptoms were mild. It is now destroying his lungs. He and my sister Colleen have decided that it is time to give him peace and he is now in hospice. Our goal is that he will be moved to their facility in the next day or so. He wants so much to leave the hospital. Currently he understands what is going on. Insurance will pay for a limited amount of time in the facility. After that it is $250 a day or he goes back to the nursing home with hospice care. He/we want him NOT to have to go back to the nursing home during the last stage of his life. I am asking if you are able to give in anyway so that we can pay for as many days as possible. If Paul would pass before this is needed then the funds will help Colleen with funeral expenses. I want to give Colleen a cushion of days so that some stress can be taken away. She and the kids deserve to spend as much time with him as possible. If you are unable to help financially, as it has been a difficult time for everyone, can you please share this so it can be seen by as many people as possible. Let’s all work together to give Paul peace.
