Help patricia Day beat the crap out of cancer

Hi, I’m Brando. I’ve chosen the task of possibly being the one letting you know Patricia has cancer, but I’m also the one hoping to ask you to be ringside with her as she gloves up to knock the C out of cancer.

I’ve convinced these crazy proud Danes to accept help, and if you know Patricia & band mate/husband Kim Nekroman, you know that was a huge step. Now I’m asking you to help take the next step with them.

Cancer sucks! Medical bills are killers!!

Those are Patricia’s words. She has no fear or doubts that she will win this fight! But the bill collectors terrify her…

Well, this is awkward for me.. but I’m thankful that you’re taking the time to read this far. Kim hit the hammer on the head for me when he, Brando, Henrik, and I discussed going public with this diagnosis. Kim said, “people will want to help, but more importantly, it could help all you ladies remember to keep up with the lady bits health checks and screenings.” That I wish for more than anything else; Be better than me at insisting at your doctor's office that something doesn’t feel right, love your body and take time to feel it up and go get those screenings! That includes you men too, especially since so many of you rather run naked into the circle/ pogo/wrecking pit than go see a doctor.

You’ve probably heard us often talk about how Murphy’s law is our constant companion in Horrorpops. I mean, if we buy a tour vehicle, it will blow up on our first day of tour. If we have the biggest show of our career, my bass will decide to die on the 3’rd note of the first song. If we decide to do a comeback tour after a 9-year hiatus, a pandemic will shut all shows down and remove all means of income. And of course, as the pandemic dwindles and touring starts to be possible, cancer decides to pay me a visit.

Well, F Murphy and his god damn law and F cancer. I’m planning US shows for late summer & fall and Europe tours for ‘23 & ‘24 … and I can’t wait!!!
