Help Pat Bjornson and Her Family Through This Tough Time
On Christmas Day, our beloved Pat Bjornson fell critically ill and has been unresponsive in the ICU ever since. Doctors suspect encephalopathy, a condition that affects brain function and can cause confusion, memory loss, and even unconsciousness. To complicate things further, her kidneys have been struggling, and she began dialysis three days ago. So far, they’ve removed 5.5 liters of fluid.
Despite the seriousness of her condition, tests like CT scans and EEGs have thankfully come back normal, giving us hope that her brain is still healthy. But the road to recovery is uncertain, and it has been incredibly challenging for the whole family.
Pat’s husband, Doug, has been her rock through all of this, driving 100 miles each day to be by her side. The cost of gas, possible hotel stays near the hospital, and the looming medical bills are adding up quickly.
We are reaching out to ask for your help—both through your prayers and financial contributions. Funds raised will go toward covering travel expenses, lodging for Doug, and medical bills as they arrive. Every bit helps, and it means the world to us.
We are holding onto hope and looking forward to hearing Pat’s witty and sarcastic jokes again soon. Thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
