The impact of the coronavirus has extended far beyond those who have become infected. COVID has affected my entire family. 

I am writing to you to let you know about the unexpected passing of my father Rev. Manuel Cruz and brother-in-law Francisco Estrada. We are all devastated, and dealing with immense grief. We lost two beloved husbands, fathers, brothers, sons, cousins, mentors, and grandfather (my dad) to this horrible virus. 

They were both dedicated in doing the Lord’s work. They loved helping the homeless and veteran community, and had a heart for missions. They were both loving, caring, compassionate, funny (my dad loved telling jokes), loyal, empathetic, and so much more. 

My father leaves behind a beautiful wife, four children, and eight grandchildren. My brother-in-law  leaves behind his beautiful wife and two children. They are already missed terribly. We can’t imagine life without them here. 

We are vulnerable to the negative financial affect from our loss.
