<div>My name is Parker Smith. I am a junior at Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning in Nevada City. I was selected with a handful of my classmates to go to Senegal in West Africa. Traveling is a deep passion of mine and it was an honor to be selected to go on a trip like this. This trip costs $3,600 to go and I have worked hard to raise over half of that amount on my own. I just need help with the last $1,000. Asking for money isn't easy for me and I know money is tight for people after the holidays but this is such a great opportunity for me to learn and provide community service to a local school there. Every little bit helps! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
