Help ParaSnowboarder make Nationals

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Courtney Mould and first off I want to just thank the people reading this. I do not ask for monetary help that often, so this is a strange position for me to be in.

I have been a snowboarder for 15 years and local competitor for  7 years mainly competing in boardercross and rail jams. I sustained a traumatic and acquired brain injury in 2014 and I now deal with ataxia and a visual impairment called Balint's Syndrome. I was able to relearn how to snowboard with New England Disabled Sports located in Lincoln, New Hampshire.

NEDS taught me how to snowboard while using only 1 leg (since I have no use of my right leg), ride with my visual impairment, and they taught me how to control my own muscles so I am able to "turn my leg on and off" while riding - which is something I struggle with on a daily basis.

At this point in my snowboarding I am at the point where I am able to compete again, but unfortunately, I do not snowboard or race like I used to. There is a Paralympic Sports Club which has a racing program located out of  Windham Mountain called Adaptive Sports Foundation and after a full day of snowboarding with the race team's head coaches, they told me that I have potential to race and to win, but since I have coordination issues, vision issues, and don't have the best motor control - I will need help getting back to my old competitive mode and relearning how to compete with these issues.

The ASF race teams fee is $1,650 and I will use the money donated to me for ASF.
My long-term goal is to make the 2022 US Paralympic team. Without this kind of training, I won't be able to make my goal become a reality.

I humbly thank anyone who is able to support me in this endeavor.

edit: I recently changed the name of my crowdfund because this is so much more than just race training at this point. Since I've made the National Championship, I'm going to need to somehow raise the money for race training AND nationals. Going to nationals is going to be AT LEAST another  $2,000 and still being a rookie, I will not have that money for nationals this year or even next year.

I am very thankful for everyone who has donated and those who continue to share this crowdfund.
