Help Paramedic Heather Haynes

Donation protected
The Professional Paramedics Association of Davidson County is starting a go fund me account for county paramedic, Heather Haynes. Heather was unfortunately involved in a random act of violence towards first responders.

Heather has worked tirelessly towards her goal of becoming a paramedic. Recently Heather achieved her goal by graduating from a local paramedic program.

While on duty, Heather was intentionally hit by a vehicle in a local shopping center parking lot, pinning her leg between the medic unit and the vehicle that struck her. Heather was airlifted to Wake Forest Baptist Medical center where she is undergoing surgeries on her leg.

Along with working full-time as a paramedic, Heather has 4 young children that she cares for. Co-workers are doing what we can to assist Heather but she is going to have a long road to recovery and will need some financial assistance. Money raised from this campaign will be going towards family expenses due to being out of work.

Thank you for taking the time to read Heather's story and please keep Heather and her family in your prayers.

Remember to hold your loved ones tight, because you never know what could happen.
