<div>Papa has been diagnosed with a heart condition that requires open heart surgery within the next 4-8 months. This procedure isn't just recommended—it's essential to save his life and give him the chance to continue being the loving, caring person we all cherish. The condition is called Mitral Regurgitation, where the valve in the heart does not close properly, allowing blood to flow backwards. If left untreated, his Doctors predict it will lead to heart failure. The valve will either need to be repaired to replaced, but they won't know until they perform the surgery.

<div>His insurance company has denied coverage for this life-saving surgery, because it's related to a pre-existing condition. This leaves our family facing all of the medical expenses that we cannot manage alone.
