Help Pam with medical bills

My name is Michael. My beloved mother, Pam, was diagnosed with cancer this year. The prognosis is promising after the tumor was removed through a successful surgical procedure. My family is thankful for all of the doctors, nurses, and other medical staff who have helped mom through this and we remain hopeful that she is and will remain cancer free. As many of you know, however, cancer treatment comes at a great cost, much of which is not covered by insurance. It is especially costly for those who are retired and living off of social security as my parents are. The debt is increasingly overwhelming as mom continues chemotherapy treatments, which will go on for about 6 months. My parents were reluctant to receive donations from family, friends, and especially those they don't know; mainly because they are two of the most unselfish and giving people I know. As a result, dad applied for and was hired by UPS as a means to supplement their income and pay down the debt. The new job was over before it started, however, because mom cannot fully recover without the help of her husband and best friend at home. I would never start a fundraiser without their approval, of which I obtained. We realize, especially with the pandemic, this has been a trying year for everybody around the globe; so no contribution is too small. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for helping my parents climb out of this increasing debt, as mom looks towards a better tomorrow in retirement and good health.
