Pal is more than just my dog—she’s my best friend, my adventure partner, and the heart of my everyday life. From the moment I brought her home as a puppy, we’ve been inseparable. Together, we’ve moved through four different homes, traveled across several states, and hiked almost every mountain in Arizona. Pal’s energy and curiosity have made every experience richer, and her loyalty and love have helped me through college and every major life change. She’s always ready for a new challenge, whether it’s chasing a ball, exploring a new trail, or simply being by my side when I need her most.

Recently, while playing with her baby brother Basil at our community park, Pal rolled her foot over a drain and broke her toe. Since then, our lives have changed dramatically. We’ve had several vet visits for x-rays, casting, and medications. Despite our best efforts and daily wrap checks, her foot became infected, which has made her recovery even more difficult. Now, Pal needs more follow-up appointments, additional medications, and regular x-ray and cast changes. The bills have been overwhelming, and it’s been hard to keep up with the costs of her care.

Pal’s injury has affected both of us deeply. She’s always been the star ball catcher and the heart of our adventures, but now she’s had to slow down. We miss our daily routines and hikes, and it’s heartbreaking to see her struggle. Even so, Pal’s spirit shines through—she patiently waits and holds her leash during our slow walks, especially when we visit her brother’s favorite spot among the flower bushes. I’m asking for help to cover Pal’s ongoing vet bills, medications, and follow-up care so she can get back on her feet and return to the adventures she loves.
