Hi, my name is Beth Conn. My friend and co-worker, Paige Bourey is a longtime employee at LaBonne's Market in Salisbury. A single mom to 6-year-old Sofia, as you can imagine it is often hard to make ends meet. Sofia with a rare heart condition and soon will be having another operation, which means Paige will be out of work for a significant amount of time. Making matters even more difficult Paige needs a newer car, something safe and reliable for journeys to and from Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford.

As a co-worker and friend, I know this hard-working generous young woman works very hard and is very proud. Asking for help is just not her style, but this is a burden one of our neighbors in need should not have to bear on their own.
