Pacino was born with brain damage due to a lack of oxygen. The result of that has cause some medical issues. Some are partial blindness, a head tilt and learning difficulties. So far the rescue has covered all his costs, from multiple visits with an optometrist, neurologist, along with xrays and blood work. I am now asking for some help with his upcoming medical costs. On Sept 5th Pacino will be getting an MRI of his brain and cervical spine. I hope to get some more answers for what his future may hold and any possible treatment. Cost for the MRI is $1100 and the radiologist report is $115Pacino also needs to be neutered which will be a cryptorchid neuter (only one testicle has dropped) Cost for this kind of neuter can be around $300. Assuming no real complications.
Lastly he will have blood work done, a blood panel to make sure all his organs are functioning properly and titters to ensure the vaccines he has received have him covered so not to have to give him any booster vaccine. That cost will run around $200.
Any donation is welcome. Pacino is a lovable boy, even when he is being naughty. Keeping him healthy and allowing him to live the best life possible is my goal. Please help me care for this boy.
