Help Owen get a new chair

A little bit about Owen....

Owen is 8yrs old and suffers from cerebral palsy in all 4 limbs, unfortunately due to this Owen is wheelchair bound. Owen is a really happy go lucky young man, with a great sense of humour and a positive outlook on life. Owen has a real love for sport including football and boxing and loves to go out and about to events wherever possible. He's a real adventurous and determined young man.

We are trying to raise some funds towards providing Owen with a brand new custom made veldink wheelchair, this chair will be able to provide Owen with the freedom and independence in life he craves, as opposed to his current NHS stock chair which usually requires adult assistance. A lightweight custom made chair will allow Owen to have much more control himself and give him the independence to move around more freely and be alot more active and involved in his social surroundings aswel as give him the ability to be able to get to the places he wants to be, without having to rely on adult support, the chair is adaptable so can be adjusted and will grow with Owen for many years to come.

Unfortunately as with most things these chairs do come at a cost, the custom chair that Owen requires is priced around 8000 pounds, we are hoping to raise as much as we can towards this and will hope to make the rest up as a family
