<div>I come before you today with a heavy heart to share my journey over the past few months. About two months ago, I began experiencing severe abdominal pain that led me to the emergency room. Initially, I was diagnosed with a severe infection and sent home with antibiotics. However, the pain soon became unbearable, and I found myself back in the hospital. A CT scan revealed a 12cm mass on my right ovary, prompting a team of doctors to investigate further. After nearly two weeks in the hospital, I was referred to an oncologist.

<div>Major surgery followed, including a full hysterectomy to remove the mass. The mass was sent for a second opinion, and after a month of anxious waiting, I received the devastating news: stage 3 ovarian cancer. The cancer had spread, and chemotherapy was necessary to ensure all cancer cells were eradicated.

<div>This diagnosis came at a particularly challenging time. I lost my job eight months ago and my unemployment benefits ended two months ago. Despite actively seeking employment, my diagnosis has made it impossible for me to work. I am now reaching out for help to cover my mounting bills and the expenses that lie ahead. Your support, whether through donations or prayers, means the world to me as I navigate this difficult journey.

<div>- **08/12/2024:** I had a chemo port installed in preparation for my treatment starting on the 19th.
</div>
<div>- **08/19/2024:** The first week of chemo was extremely tough, leading to a hospital admission due to critically low white blood cell counts. I had to pause treatment for two weeks to recover.
</div>
<div>- **09/16/2024:** I began my second round of chemo. Although my medication was reduced, I still felt very tired. I found solace in spending time outside.
</div>
<div>- **10/07/2024:** The third round of chemo left me extremely weak and unable to walk without my heart rate spiking. My doctor ordered a blood transfusion due to critically low platelets and white blood cells.
</div>
<div>- **11/12/2024:** Today, I received my PET scan results. While one set of blood work was normal, another showed elevated cancer markers. My doctor has scheduled another PET scan in six weeks to monitor the activity.
</div>

<div>I am still unable to work and am facing the loss of my car and ongoing financial struggles. Thankfully, I am receiving assistance with my medical bills through a hospital program, for which I am deeply grateful.
