<div>So, as many of you know, <strong>I was in a bad hit and run accident on December 9th at about 9:30 am on my day off no less.</strong> Shattered both knees and an ankle. Plenty of pins and plates in all 3 joints now. Broken nose and fractured orbital socket from the air bag. Still can't feel the 3 front teeth on the left side, luckily didn't lose them. Just nerve damage. They're saying I'm gonna need a knee replacement next year once the bone heals enough for the attachment to hold. Please share this with anyone you think might contribute.

<div>I've done everything I can to avoid making this post in the interim months. Had to hire an attorney for car insurance to pay anything at all. Was still too new at work to qualify for any of their benefits since I hadn't spent 90 days there. Had to let my lease go on my apartment cause there's no way I could even use it. Spent a couple months in a wheelchair, a few more in a walker, finally able to walk with a cane. That's about 8 months without any income.

<div>The little bit auto insurance paid, now United Healthcare is basically saying I owe them for "right to recover" but that's gone. It's what I survived on the last 8 months. I don't have any idea what to do at this point. <strong>Any help is massively appreciated.</strong> I'm really sorry to ask this, but working 5 hours a day, 4 days a week, there's no way I can see to even remotely get on top of this. And it's not to mention transportation fees, which I guess insurance doesn't cover after the initial ride, even if they take you to a hospital that can't treat you. Please share this with anyone that you think might care.

<div>So the hits keep coming. Stairs have been my bane of existence since the accident I assume it was going to eat it at some point on the stairs. The stairs got me . Unfortunately landing wrong shattered my elbow. If anyone can see fit to donate or share I'd appreciate it. Got the cast and staples out of my arm today feeling so much better
