Help out the homeless people in my town!

Hey, I am Miriam, a medical student from Germany. Our system misses some groups of people, especially homeless people without insurance. The project "medizinische Hilfe Bochum" is a non profit organisation in my hometown who gives free medical care to those who need it. It's easily accessible and non bureaucratic. 

My plan is to cycle two thousand kilometers from June to August and collect money for the organisation. I haven't cycled that much in my life- but this month I did 400 kilometers, which is a lot for me! 

The initial idea was to raise money for myself, because as a student I have chronically little money and wanted to up my biking-game. But I believe in the power of communities and that together, we can make the world a tiny bit better! So share this and help the homeless in Bochum!

Unser Gesundheitssystem hat einen blinden Fleck, und das sind die Obdachlosen ohne Krankenversicherung. Das Projekt "medizinische Hilfe Bochum" ist eine non profit Organisation, die  sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, freie medizinische Versorgung an Wohnungslose zu geben. Sie ist leicht und unbürokratisch zu erreichen.

Mein Plan ist es, von Juni bis August 2000 Kilometer Fahrrad zu fahren und damit Spenden für die Organisation zu generieren. Ich bin erst seit zwei Monaten eine eifrigere Fahrradfahrerin und bin im Mai 400 Kilometer geradelt. Mein Fahrrad ist alt und rostig, und auch wenn ich es liebe, wollte ich initial Geld sammeln, um mir ein neues Fahrrad zuzulegen. Aber ich glaube, dass Gemeinschaften kraftvoll sind und man zusammen mehr erreichen kann. Daher geht jetzt einfach das gesamte Geld an die Organisation. Also macht mit, spendet, und helft den Wohnungslosen von Bochum!!
