Help out Barton Hill

Barton Hill Amateur Boxing Club is a boxing club first and foremost, but is also a key part of the Barton Hill and Bristol community which started out to help the youngsters of Barton Hill and surrounding areas stay safe and encourage them to participate in sports and to teach them discipline and respect for others.

The club has approximately 500 people attending the club each month, from all ethnicities and backgrounds, with ages varying from 6 to 65 yrs

All staff and workers there are volunteers and dedicate solely their own time and money to keeping the club open and running to make sure that members of the community and local kids have a platform for opportunities to better themselves as individuals.

Due to the current pandemic, the club has been closed for 6 months and  with the owners and people who run the club receiving no funding the club are in a difficult position. If there were to be another lockdown, the club may be forced to close for good and would most likely not be replaced. There are hardly any community run projects like Barton Hill Boxing Club in the area and if it was to close it would be a huge loss - not just for all the people connected with the club, but the community as a whole.

This is a fundraising page set up solely to help out Barton Hill with the payment of their rent, which is still being charged at high prices, despite the club being closed - Any contributions would be appreciated massively to keep this great club open and maintain itself as an outlet of opportunity for the community of Barton Hill.
