<div>This is incredibly hard for us to share, but we’ve reached a point where we have no other option.

<div>Due to the actions of my husband’s cousin, our family has been left with a significant amount of debt and ongoing bailiff action. Parking tickets and other fines were taken out using my husband’s name without our knowledge. Although we reported this to the police, contacted Action Fraud, and reached out to multiple solicitors, we’ve been told there is nothing they can do to help us get justice.

<div>The bailiffs have advised us that, despite this not being our wrongdoing, we are still responsible for paying the debt.
</div>

<div>We have already paid a large amount using every bit of savings we had. We’ve also had to borrow money just to keep the bailiffs away. We now have nothing left—no savings, no one else we can borrow from—and the pressure has become unbearable.
</div>

<div>We are a small family: my husband, our daughter, and me. We work day to day, doing our best to give our child a safe and happy life. We are not wealthy. We work hard, live honestly, and have never intentionally caused harm to anyone. To be in this situation, caused by someone else’s actions, has taken a huge emotional and mental toll on us.

<div>What makes this even harder is that we have tried repeatedly to contact the person responsible and their family. We reached out with kindness, hoping for accountability or even a conversation. No one has responded. No one has offered help. We’ve been completely shut out.
</div>

<div>At this point, we are simply asking for help—whether that is financial support to help us clear the remaining bailiff debt, or advice from anyone who knows how we might challenge this situation legally.
</div>

<div>Any support, no matter how small, would mean more to us than we can put into words. Even sharing this page could help lift some of the weight we’re carrying.
