<div>Dear friends, family, and community,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For nearly thirty years, my parents have called California home. After dedicating their lives to building a beautiful future alongside their children and grandchildren, they now face the heartbreaking reality of having to self deport and return to Mexico. Our father’s work permit has been revoked, and he has been given just 60 days to leave the United States. With no other legal avenues left, we know self deportation is the best decision for their health and safety. It has left our family with heavy hearts, uncertainty, and financial burdens.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anyone that has known them can testify of how selfless and hardworking they are. They’ve owned businesses and paid taxes even while they couldn’t benefit from it. They’ve taken people when they had nowhere else to go and helped them get up on their feet. They’ve demonstrated what it means to build true community and how to fight for it. They’ve uplifted their voices to advocate for better policies that impact our environment and our immigrant communities. They have been a pillar to the Bloomington community, putting their heart into everything they do. They have truly become an irreplaceable part of the fabric that makes our community so special.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>In addition to their dedication to the community, they’ve worked incredibly hard to provide a better future for their three children. Through years of sacrifice, they’ve guided their children to the finish line of higher education. Today, two of their children hold bachelor’s degrees, and one has achieved a master’s degree. This accomplishment is a testament to their resilience, and determination.

Your donation will help cover essential costs for their departure, including travel expenses, legal fees, temporary housing and other costs to ensure that they can return to their country with dignity and the chance to rebuild their life.

<div>No donation is too small, and every bit of support is deeply appreciated.

<div>Thank you for your compassion and for helping us give back to our parents who have done so much for others.

</div>
<div>Queridos amigos, familia y comunidad,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div>Con gratitud,
</div>
