I have created a small gofund me to help my elderly neighbor with car repairs. He and his wife came to the US the legal way from Mexico and have worked hard all their life. Unfortunately due to inflation and high property taxes, its difficult for them to make ends meet. He has a 2001 s10 Blazer that he drives everyday to pick up his grandchildren from 2 different schools. The Blazer's transmission has no reverse so I have to help him push it out of his driveway daily. I am afraid the transmission will quit completely very soon. I have coordinated a free tow to the repair shop. West Texas Performance has volunteered their labor time to install a new transmission. The goal is $3000 to cover all unexpected cost and the transmission itself. Any funds left over, will be given to my neighbor or go toward other repairs at his request. Let's get this hard worker back on the street so he can pickup his grandchildren safely and without worry. Thanks for your help.
