Help our Katie get her shine back

Everyone who has met her knows the sunshine our beautiful Kate radiates everywhere she goes. She has touched and nurtured the lives of so many with her compassionate and crazy spirit. As many of you already know, she has spent the last seven months battling some serious medical conditions. During this time we have almost lost her twice.

Kate has quite a journey ahead of her, with significant medical costs. Being regional, there are constant trips to Perth, accommodation, specialist appointments and medical procedures to cover. Kate’s condition has meant she has been unable to work at her beloved Leaning Tree Steiner School in the job that warms her heart and nourishes her soul. Marty has taken on the role of her carer, but as he works for himself, looking after Kate, has meant he hasn’t been able to work very much either. More than anything, we just can’t wait to see her out there, sprinkling her sunshine, joy and a good dose of mischief back into the world.
